Fantastic Coffee!

When we sent out an email to our customers informing them about our new arrival in atomi, one of which was a coffee dripper, we asked for their recommendation on places to get nice coffee beans in Singapore. Nice coffee beans had been one of the things we could not find in Singapore, and we always hand carried them back from Japan. Some of our customers mentioned the same place, which was "papa palheta", and we decided to give it a try this morning.

Well, we must say "papa palheta" is simply amazing.

First of all, their coffee is really good.

They are passionate about their coffee, and they also roast the coffee beans in house every week. The beans we got were also freshly roasted only yesterday. I can't wait to taste it. They explained to us how the particular beans taste like, so you can choose the one to suit your preference.

Second, I loved the settings. Maybe because we spend everyday 10 hours in a shopping center, and live in an apartment, I prefer spending rest of the time "on the ground", rather than in a building. The "papa palheta" is located in a beautiful colonial house, and it's almost like visiting a friends' house. It's very cozy and welcoming. There are also some outside seats, so you can enjoy nice cup of coffee in a natural light and breeze.

I am 100% sure we will go back there often to get our coffee beans, and now waiting for getting a coffee mill from them, too, so we can hand-grind them at home.

I am so happy to get to know them, and it's a great feeling when you experience this kind of encounter, which does not happen often.

8月に9月のニュースレターをお客さまにご連絡した際、新着アイテムにコーヒードリッパーがありました。

コーヒー好きな私たちですが、どうしてもシンガポールでこれ！というコーヒー豆に出会えていなかったので、お客さまに美味しいコーヒー豆、ご存知の場所があれば、教えて下さい、とお願いしていたところ、何人かのお客さまから「Papa Palheta」をご紹介いただきました。

それからずっと気になっていたのですが、今日やっと初トライ、惚れ込んでしまいました。

まずもちろん、コーヒーが美味しいこと。

毎週月曜日に自家焙煎されるコーヒーは、色々な種類の豆があり、好みを伝えるとおススメしてもらえます。

コーヒーの淹れ方も、エスプレッソ、ドリップ、サイフォンなどなど、好みを選べます。

ここまでこだわった、お店、シンガポールではとっても珍しいと思います。早速昨日焙煎したばかり、というコーヒー豆を購入しました。

そして、お店の雰囲気がとってもいいのです。

毎日10時間ほどショッピングセンターにあるお店で過ごし、家もアパートのため、地面（？）が恋しくなるのは私だけでしょうか？？ランチを取るときも、できるだけ屋外ではなく外でとるのが好きです。

このお店は素敵なコロニアルのお家を改装していて、まるでお友達のお家のリビングでくつろいでいるような雰囲気です。外に席もあり、そちらもおススメです。

このような素敵なお店との出会い、ちょくちょくあることでもなく、今日はとってもハッピーな一日でした。
